What actually happens

Three services, three different processes. Here is each one, step by step, so you know what you are agreeing to before you pay anything.

01 — Websites

Web design and development

A site built around what your business actually needs to say, written from scratch rather than assembled from a template.

  1. A call, then a written quote

Half an hour on what the business does and what the site has to achieve. You get back a written quote listing every page and everything included, and just as importantly, what is not.

  2. Deposit, and dates in the diary

Half the fee starts the work. Dates are counted from the day your content arrives, not the day you pay, because one waits on the other.

  3. Structure before anything is designed

We agree the pages and what each one has to do. Moving a section now costs a conversation. Moving it after the build costs money.

  4. One direction, designed on real content

The first design uses your actual words and pictures, not placeholder text, so you are judging the real thing. Two rounds of changes are included.

  5. Built and put on a staging link

You get a private link and can open it on your own phone, on your own connection, before anyone else sees it.

  6. You test it properly

Fill in the form. Click everything. Try it on the oldest phone in the office. This is the point to find problems.

  7. Launch

Domain pointed, analytics switched on, contact form tested end to end so you know enquiries actually arrive.

  8. Thirty days of free fixes

Anything that does not do what the scope says it does gets fixed at no charge for a month after launch.

02 — Brand

Logo and brand identity

A mark you own outright, with the colours, type and rules that stop it falling apart the first time someone else uses it.

  1. A call, then a written quote

What the business is, who buys from it, and what it needs to look like it belongs next to. The quote lists every file and format you will receive.

  2. Deposit

Half the fee starts the work.

  3. A short set of written questions

Twenty minutes of answers about who you sell to, what you want people to feel, and what you do not want to look like. Written down, so we are both working from the same brief.

  4. Two directions, genuinely different

Two routes that take real positions, not one idea shown in three colours. You will have an opinion, which is the point.

  5. You choose one, and we sharpen it

Two rounds of changes on the direction you picked. The route you did not choose stays with MOB.

  6. Final artwork in every format

Vector and raster, screen and print. The formats a printer asks for and the ones a web developer asks for, so you are never stuck.

  7. The rules, written down

Colour codes, type, spacing, minimum sizes and what not to do with the mark. This is what you hand to anyone who works on your brand later.

  8. Handover, and it is yours

On final payment the copyright is assigned to you in writing. Not a licence. Yours.

03 — Social

Social media management

Someone who actually posts, every week, and tells you at the end of the month what it did.

  1. A call, then a written quote

Which platforms, how often, and who your audience actually is. The quote fixes the number of posts a month so nobody is guessing later.

  2. Access, not passwords

MOB gets added as a manager on your accounts. You keep ownership and you keep your own access, always. Nothing is ever renamed, transferred or deleted.

  3. A calendar before anything goes out

Next month's plan arrives before the month starts: what gets posted, when, and roughly what it will say.

  4. Three working days to approve or change it

Say yes, or mark up what you want different. If nothing comes back in three days the calendar goes ahead, so the schedule does not stall.

  5. Posting on schedule

Designed and scheduled, going out on the days agreed rather than whenever someone remembers.

  6. Replies handled

Routine comments and messages answered in your voice. Anything that needs a real decision comes straight to you.

  7. A report at month end

What went out, what people responded to, and what is worth doing more of. Short and honest, including the months that were quiet.

The paperwork

Nothing starts without a signed agreement

Not because anyone expects trouble, but because the cheapest time to settle what is included is before the work begins. Every contract covers the same six things in plain language.

  • What is included

A written schedule listing every deliverable, and the things that are explicitly not in scope.

  • What it costs, and when

The fee, the payment split, and the date each invoice falls due. No hourly surprises.

  • How many rounds of changes

Revisions are counted. Going past them is quoted first, and approved by you, before any work happens.

  • Who owns the work

Copyright passes to you on final payment, assigned in writing as Zimbabwean law requires.

  • How either of us stops

Notice periods, what happens to work already done, and what you keep.

  • Which law applies

Zimbabwean law, courts sitting at Harare. Disputes go to a conversation first.

One practical note. If MOB has not given you a valid tax clearance certificate, Zimbabwean law requires you to withhold 10% of the invoice and remit it to ZIMRA. That is written into every agreement so there is no confusion at payment time.
